How do I book my stay at Camping Le Maine?
You have several options:

Is the campsite VACAF approved?
No, unfortunately the campsite is not VaCaf approved.
Are pets allowed in all areas of the campsite?
Our animal friends are welcome. All pets must be kept on a leash and are not allowed in the sanitary facilities.
Are sheets and towels included?
Bed linen, towels and household linen are not included. However, they are available at extra cost.
Only disposable pillow and mattress covers are included.
Is wifi free and available throughout the estate?
Yes, WIFI is FREE and accessible throughout the estate.
Is it possible to choose your location?
In fact, you can choose your pitch by specifying the desired location or features in the “comments” box when booking online. You can also contact the reception desk on +33 (0)5 46 75 43 76
Is there a mini-market at your campsite?
In our small grocery store, we offer a few staple products for when you forget, as well as local produce.
Is there a morning bread delivery service at your campsite?
Yes, every morning you can pick up your order of pastries and breads from the café-grocery, which you will have ordered the day before.
Can we have breakfast on site?
Yes, our café-recup is open from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Is the campsite close to the town center and shops?
The campsite is located halfway between the town centers of Grand-Village Plage (2800 meters) and Dolus (3500 meters) with all shops and markets; 5 minutes by car or 10 minutes by bike on the cycle paths or by taking the FREE “VIOLETTE” bus service available during the summer season, located at the campsite entrance.
Do I have to pay for wifi?

Is there a composter on the campsite?
Yes, a composter is available for our customers. We are committed to respecting our environment and are constantly striving to improve our operating methods.
Do you have a charging station for electric vehicles?
Yes, the terminal is on the campsite grounds and can be used 24 hours a day.
Can we use this terminal even if we’re not customers?
The electric charging point is visible on maps of electric vehicle charging points – Consult dedicated applications – e.g. Chargemap, Virta, …
Can I recharge my electric vehicle by plugging it into my mobile home’s electrical outlet?
For obvious safety reasons, it is unfortunately forbidden to connect any electric vehicle to the plot or mobile home. The electrical terminal on the campsite grounds is provided for this purpose.
Are bicycles available for hire on the campsite?
Bikes can be hired from our partner Bik’Elect ( www.bikelect.fr ) before and during your stay. They will be delivered by our partner on the campsite under certain conditions.
How far is the campsite from the beach?
The beach is very close at 1,200 meters and accessible to all. You’re on an island, so all the beaches are within easy reach!
How far are the cycle paths from the campsite?
3 cycle paths are less than 450 m from the campsite entrance. One converges to the south, the other to the north, and the last one crosses the island to the east.
Are dogs allowed on beaches?
Conditions for dogs on the beaches of the Ile d’Oléron vary according to season and time of day. We invite you to contact the tourist offices and the Communauté de communes de l’Île d’Oléron for further information.
